LF Inspiration Week: A Creature Was Stirring

It's time again for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the A Creature Was Stirring stamp set. 

I created a slimline card with the Large and Small Slimline dies to showcase a punny sentiment and goodies that the mice baked. To create the slimline frame, I lined up the large and small slimline die, taped them together with washi tape, and die cut a piece of white cardstock. I lined up the frame over a piece of Let It Shine patterned paper and attached it to a white card base.

Once the background was created, I started working on the images for the card. The images were all stamped with black ink onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I added some chunky glitter to a few of the images for extra details.

The sentiment is created by using the Quinn's ABCs stamp and dies. I have found that the best way to line up the letters is to first die cut the Quinn's letters, and then stamp onto the die cuts. Once they were created, I colored the letters with Copic markers. I arranged the letters in the middle of the card over the cookie sheet, and also added a white heat embossed sentiment above and below the letters.

After the sentiment was finished, I arranged the mice and goodies on the sides and attached them with foam tape and liquid glue. I finished by adding a few hearts above the images. Here's a closer look at part of the card:
