LF Inspiration Week: Outside In Stitched Thought Bubble die

Hi friends! I hope you are enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week so far. All of the new goodies will be available on Thursday, May 13th - just a few more days!

My card today features the Outside In Stitched Thought Bubble die. These are a great size to use to make little scenes! I created three little scenes and added them to a slimline card.

I started by creating the background for the slimline card. I used the Large Slimline dies to die cut a piece of Ballet Slipper cardstock. Then, I ink blended the background with the new Plaid Stencils with Wild Rose and Guava ink. That is such a fun stencil!

Next, I die cut the three speech bubbles. I ink blended the top with distress oxide ink, and added grass along the bottom with Cilantro cardstock and die cut with the Simple Grassy Hillside die. Then, I stamped and die cut the critters from the new Happy Hugs stamp set.

 

I attached the background to a card base, glued the speech bubbles in place, and attached the critters with foam tape. I also added a few hearts from the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag set and the speech bubble trail. Next, I stamped and die cut the sentiment from the Scripty Bubbles Sentiments set and also added the first part by white heat embossing the sentiment from the Happy Hugs set to black cardstock.
