LF Inspiration Week: Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag

 Good morning everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend! Today, the Lawn Fawn team is sharing projects with the Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag die!

I wanted to create a card with tags of sentiments, so I die cut the tags out of different colors of cardstock including Ballet Slippers, Guava, Sunflower, Peacock, and Mermaid. 

The tag die has rick rack edges on one of the sides, but I wanted to make the tags with the rick rack on both sides. So, I started by partially die cutting the tags on the jagged side, taking the paper out of my die cut machine, turning the tag die around and lined up the die to cut the other side, and ran it through the die cut machine again. Because there is stitching along the sides of the tag, the tag die lines up easily with the part that is already cut. Here's a YouTube video showing how to partially die cut images (click here).

After the tags were created, I white heat embossed sentiments from the Simply Sentiments stamp set. I did have to cut out the "so" for the "you are awesome" tag to make sure that the sentiment could fit. I added a few hearts that are included in the tag set and attached them with foam tape to two of the tags.

Then, I created a white card base, added a piece of patterned paper cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die, attached the tags with foam tape, and finished by tying a twine bow along the top. This design turned out so fun and would be fun to create with different colors and sentiments.
