Hi friends! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just a few days away? And Christmas is right around the corner! This week, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing holiday inspiration on the LF blog!
I have two cards to share with you today. For each of these cards, I created a stencil with the Fancy Lattice Backdrop die by die cutting a piece of acetate! Making your own stencils is a fun way to stretch your dies even more.
My first card, I stenciled part of the background with the Gold Stencil Paste and left the outside area blank. One of my favorite Christmas stamp sets is the Winter Big Scripty Words set, so I used that to add a sentiment to the middle of the card. I also added a garland below the sentiment with the Christmas Garland die and colored cardstock.
My second card also features a stenciled background with the gold paste (it's perfect for Christmas!), but I created a fun sentiment with the Louie's ABCs die. I cut the letters from patterned paper and arranged them around another sentiment from the Winter Big Scripty Words set.
To finish the cards, I added a few black sequins around the sentiments.
There is a lot more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog this week! Now I need to start working on the rest of my Christmas cards... :)
