LF Inspiration Week: Berry Special and Strawberry Patch Dies

Hi everyone! It's the start of the Lawn Fawn inspiration week! The design team has a lot of new products to share and there will be tons of new videos on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel, too!

Today, we are sharing projects that feature the new Berry Special stamp set and Strawberry Patch dies.

The first card today is a clean and simple card with an ink blended background created with the Cloudy and Grassy stencils. The mice from the Berry Special set are stamped in black ink, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Aren't they so cute?!

After arranging the images along the bottom of the scene, and attaching them with foam tape, I started working on the sentiment. I like my sentiments to stand out against the background, so I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock and cut it out with my scissors. The sentiment is attached with foam tape and then I finished the card by tying a twine bow along the top.

My second card uses the berry border that is included in the Berry Special set, along with my new favorite alphabet set - Henry's ABCs! I used the Outside In Stitched Square die to create a square background with the new Flower Market patterned paper, and attached everything to a square white card base.

My last card uses the Strawberry Patch dies and the Outside In Stitched Strawberry die. I cut the strawberries and leaves from chili pepper and cilantro cardstock, respectively. It's hard to see in the picture, but I lightly ink blended the edges of the cardstock with red and green inks.

After attaching the strawberries and leaves, I created the sentiment. The "you are so" is from the Simply Sentiments set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I also used the Scripty Sweet die and cut from the Flower Market paper. To make sure that the sentiment stood out against the strawberries, I gave it a shadow with a second layer behind it in black cardstock. Finally, I finished the card by adding a few black jewels around the images.
