Hi friends! I'm excited to be joining in the Ellen Hutson and Lawn Fawn blog hop today to share inspiration with the exclusive S'more the Merrier stamp set! This set is so cute and is only available at Ellen Hutson. This set is part of the Essentials by Ellen Summer of Stamping. They are hoping to spread a little crafty sunshine with a month of new releases and a whole lotta' fun! Each week there will be a new Essentials by Ellen releases and bunches of cardmaking inspiration.

Now, onto the inspiration!
For my first card, I used Lawn Fawn inks to create an ink blended background. I used masking tape to mask off the border of the white cardstock panel. I stamped the critters and images from the S'more the Merrier set, colored them with Copic markers, and attached them to the background. I also gave them the picnic blanket from the Crazy Antics set. Part of the sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock, and the rest is cut from Woodgrain Cardstock with Finley's ABCs. Here's a closer look at the card:
For my second card, I created a night time forest scene for the critters to cook their marshmallows! I started by ink blending with Distress Oxide inks to create the night sky and grass. I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies and Simple Grassy Hillsides dies to create the background. I also added some stars in the sky with the Starry Sky stencil and Yeti ink.
I added a few trees with the Birch Tree die and ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks. The critters are all colored with Copic markers and attached with foam tape. How cute are they with their marshmallows and sticks?!
My last card uses the Peekaboo Backdrop die to highlight different s'more making scenes! The scenes are created the same way as the card above and the sentiment is white heat embossed onto the background of one of the smaller scenes. Those skies just look so cute with the soft, white stars!
