LF Inspiration Week: Car Critters

Good morning! Did you see all of the new Lawn Fawn goodies that were available yesterday? Which one is your favorite?

Today, we are sharing projects that feature the new Car Critters set! I am so excited about this set and all of the possibilities with it! You can stamp the critters directly into the car, cut out the window and attach the critters behind it (like I did in my card), or use the Reveal Wheel Add-On: Car Critters die to make it a reveal wheel! So clever!

I started by creating the scene for this card by using low tack tape to mask and ink blend the sky, grass, and road with distress oxide inks. I used the Foursquare Backdrop die and cut out the inside pieces to create the frame around the scene. I then stamped and colored the images from the Car Critters set with my Copic markers, and I also added a few images, like the trees and birds, from the Happy Village stamp set. Once the images were die cut, I attached them with liquid glue and foam tape to the ink blended scene. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed the first part onto black cardstock, cut it out with my scissors, and attached it with foam tape. Then, I used the Oliver's Stitched ABC's die to die cut shimmer cardstock for the dad letters and attached them with glue. I like how this card turned out and my favorite part is that license plate!
