Merry and Bright

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you're having a great Thanksgiving so far and that you're able to spend the day with family and friends! We are going to travel to Pittsburgh to spend some time with my family that I haven't seen for a while! I can't wait!

Even though it's Thanksgiving, I have a super cute Christmas card to share with you today that features the "Santa's Helpers" die set by Sunny Studio Stamps!

Some of the die sets have extra goodies that are included (bonus!!), so I used those extra dies to create this Christmas card!

I die cut the sentiment from gold glittery paper and black card stock. I attached the black card stock behind the glittery paper to give it a shadow and to help make the sentiment stand out. Here is a close up on the sentiment:

I also cut the holly leaves and berries from some green and red patterned paper, and attached those around the sentiment. I added some enamel dots, some red patterned paper, and a big green ribbon to finish off the card!

Well thanks for stopping by, and I pray that you have a safe, and relaxing Thanksgiving! :)

Avery Elle Christmas Tags

Hi everyone! This is a late post, but I wanted to quickly share some tags that I created for the Avery Elle Challenge this month!

This month's challenge is to create a holiday tag. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the Avery Elle Christmas sets, so I had to make do with the sets that I had. Here are the Christmas tags that I created:

For these tags I used Avery Elle's "Sending You" and "Peonies" stamp sets for the sentiment and to make the "holly" branches. I also used patterned paper from The Happy Collection since it was the perfect red and green for Christmas. To make the berries, I used a hole punch to get a bunch of small, red dots and attached them to the end of the leaves. It doesn't really look like a holly leaf with berries, but it's not bad. Here is a close up each of the tags:

To make the tags, I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Circle Tags and added a white tag behind the patterned paper so that I can write who it is for on the inside. I finished each of the tags off by adding either red or green ribbon to the top.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! :)

Gingerbread Family Christmas

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a nice, relaxing weekend! We were able to spend some time with family yesterday to celebrate Thanksgiving together! It is so much fun to see everyone and catch up over delicious food! :)

Anyways, I have a fun card to share with you that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Toboggan Together" stamp and dies, "Sweet Christmas" stamp and dies, "Stitched Hillside Border" dies, "Scalloped Rectangle Stackables" die, and some of their inks as well - Mermaid, Fish Tank, and Freshly Cut Grass. I started with a white card base, and inked the edges with the Mermaid ink. I really like how it adds a hint of color around the edge for the sky. Then, I cut out two hills from white card stock and added some frosted lace stickles to the edge. The trees are stamped in the Freshly Cut Grass ink, die cut, and attached with glue. I wanted the gingerbread family to look like gingerbread, so I die cut them from kraft card stock, and added the details with a white gel pen. The family is attached with foam tape, and then the sentiment is stamped in the Fish Tank blue ink.

To make the frame, I die cut a piece of glittery paper with the scalloped rectangle die. If you have the regular rectangle dies, you can die cut that in the middle to make the frame. If you don't have the regular rectangle dies, then determine how much you want to cut from the inside, and use an X-acto knife and ruler to cut out the inside.

Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you Kelly Marie for sharing this card on the LF blog this morning! Have a great week! :)

Fawny Holiday Week

Hi everyone! I hope that you have had a good week! Today is my husband's birthday, so we're going to enjoy some family time this evening with cake and ice cream! Yummy!

I have a card to share with you this morning as part of the Fawny Holiday Week on the Lawn Fawn blog

Elf is such a fun Christmas movie, so I decided to use a famous line from the movie as inspiration for my Christmas card!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Riley's ABCs," "Quinn's ABCs," "Toboggan Together," "Baaah Humbug" stamp set and die, and "Trim the Tree" stamp set and die. I tried to stick with red, green, and light brown for all of the images to keep this card full of Christmas cheer! And all of the small images around the sentiment are attached with foam tape. I also added some darker lines of red and green in the "cheer" for some extra detail. Here is a close up:

Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to check out the rest of the Christmas inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! :)

Happy Thanksgiving Card

Hi everyone! I'm back again to share a card that is being featured on the Sunny Studio Stamp blog! This card features the Harvest Happiness set and dies which are perfect for Thanksgiving!

The images are all stamped onto white card stock and colored with prismacolor pencils. I then attached all of the images with foam tape to help them stand out against the white background. That turkey looks like he is going to enjoy that pie! :)

I finished the card by adding a few clear sequins around the images.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other cards from the design team this week that feature the Harvest Happiness set on the Sunny Studio blog!

Lawnscaping #118 - In With the Old

Good morning! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This weeks challenge is about using a product that hasn't been used for a while. I decided to use Lawn Fawn's "Hello Sunshine" and "Good Fortune" stamp sets.

I kept this card very clean and simple, and stamped everything onto the card base. I also used Fish Tank, Mermaid, and Wild Rose ink pads. After I stamped the clouds, I added a few dots along the edge for some details.

I hope that you're able to play along because the winner will receive a free stamp set from Lawn Fawn!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a great week! :)

The card that I have to share today features the Bundled Up stamp set and dies. I stamped, colored, and die cut the different penguins using Prismacolor pencils. Then, I stamped and die cut some hats, gloves, and scarves from different patterned paper. Those penguins are so cute all bundled up! :)

I also altered the sentiment a little bit to make the "cool" bigger. The sentiments are all from the same set, but I inked and stamped the parts that I needed for this card.

Punny Sheep Christmas Cards

*This is my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Lawnscaping post, scroll down or click here.

Hello again everyone! I am super excited to be able to share some cute Christmas cards on the Lawn Fawn blog today!!

These cards all feature the "Baaah Humbug" and "Flirty Frames" stamp set and dies. This first card is my favorite one of the set. That bow is so cute, and that sentiment is perfect for Christmas cards! The sheep and frames are all colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also added some white details to the little images and the frames.

The sheep on the green card is so cute holding that little present!

The blue cards sheep needed a scarf to keep him warm this winter!

I really like this purple for an unexpected Christmas card color!

The sheep are all so cute and I really like how they can hold a bunch of different images. You can even add images from different stamp sets (the heart from the first sheep card came from a different set).

Thanks for stopping by to check out these Christmas cards, and thank you Kelly Marie for sharing these cards on the Lawn Fawn blog today! Have a great day! :)

Lawnscaping #117 - Thinking of you!

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone had a nice weekend! I can't believe it is already November! Time to start playing Christmas music, right? :)

Anyways, it's time again for another Lawnscaping Challenge!

The challenge this week is about thinking of you projects, so here is the card that I created:

This was a quick and easy card to create, and I really like how it turned out! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Chit Chat" stamp set, "Heart" dies, and "Mermaid," "Fish Tank," and "Sugarplum" inks. These ink colors look great together! I really like that Sugarplum color!

I stamped the speech bubble multiple times in the different ink colors, and then I used colored card stock to cut different sized hearts to decorate around the speech bubbles. If you don't have colored card stock that matches, you could also use the inks to color white card stock!

I hope that you're able to play along with this challenge because the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson! Definitely a prize worth fighting for! :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a good Monday! :)
