Fawny Holiday Week

Hi there! I'm excited to share a card with you today for the Fawny Holiday Week! Every year, the design team, Lawnfawnatics team, Fawnies, and friends share Christmas and holiday inspiration, and the projects are always so cute!

I used the bears from the Den Sweet Den set and decorated them for Christmas with Santa hats and presents from the Baaah Humbug set. They're so cute in their hats! The images were all colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.

The background is created with the Knit Picky patterned paper and die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. I attached the patterned paper to a white card base, and then attached the bears with foam tape.

The sentiment is created with the Scripty Happy and Scripty Merry dies cut from Metallic Gold paper and two layers of white paper. The layers are all glued together to create a thicker die cut. Before attaching the die cut sentiment, I die cut leaves from the Large Wreath die. Four leaves are cut from the Cilantro cardstock, and two are from the Noble Fir cardstock. I glued the leaves in place and then glued the scripty sentiment on top.

I finished the card by adding a white heat embossed sentiment from the Offset Sayings: Christmas stamp set, trimmed the sentiment, and attached it with foam tape.

Make sure to stop by the Lawn Fawn blog for more Christmas inspiration and for a change to win one of the daily giveaways!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy your week! :)

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi friends! I'm excited to be sharing Christmas tags with you today for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags from Tracey McNeely! Make sure to check out her blog for details about the 25 Days of Christmas Tags and to find out how to enter the giveaway for today!

I have a fun set of Christmas tags to share that use stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. I used the Car Critters coordinating die to create these shaped tags! I started by folding a piece of white cardstock, lining up the car die so that the top of the die slightly hung over the folded edge of the white cardstock, and then die cut the paper with my die cutting machine. It created the cutest car shaped card! Once the little cards were created, I used a hole punch to add a hole in the top and tied gold sparkle twine to the top.

Then, I started to work on the images for the front of the tag. I stamped and colored the cars, critters, and holiday images from the Car Critters and Car Critters Christmas Add-On stamp sets. I added a mix of bears and reindeer to the inside of the cars, too! Once the images were stamped and colored, I die cut them with the coordinating dies. Then, I glued the images to the front of the car tags that were waiting to be decorated.

To finish the tags, I stamped the inside with a sentiment from the Tiny Tags Sayings stamp set. It fit perfectly inside the little tags! Here's another look at the tags and the inside sentiment.

I hope that these tags have inspired you to create some Christmas tags of your own! Make sure to stop by Tracey's blog and the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration.

Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Pop-Up Thanks

Hi friends It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and I'm sharing a project that features the Pop-Up Thanks die.

I die cut the card base with Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the inside with the Cloudy stencil and Grassy Hillside stencil. I used Peacock and Mermaid ink for the clouds, and Artichoke and Cilantro ink for the grass.

I die cut the pop-up thanks with brown patterned paper and used the Oliver's Stitched ABCs to add the thanks letters to the front. Once the pop-up thanks was folded, I added it to the center of the card base with double sided tape. I then die cut the tree with white cardstock and the Birch Tree dies, and added details with Copic markers. I glued them to the background. The leave for the trees were die cut with pieces of scrap paper and the leaf dies from the Acorn House.

Next, I stamped, colored, and die cut the stump, critters, and food from the Forest Feast stamp set. To make the hedgehog and squirrel pop-up, I used a small piece of acetate folded in half with part of it glued to the pop-up base and the other part attached to the critter. I finished by adding a banner below the thanks by using the Bannertastic and Thanks Thanks Thanks stamp sets.
