Magical Day with Hello Bluebird

Hello!! I have another card to share with you this week that features the cute Unicorn Tales stamp set from Hello Bluebird!

I started by creating the cloudy backdrop. I die cut four pieces of white cardstock with the Puffy Cloud borders die from Lawn Fawn and lightly inked them with distress oxide inks. I attached the layers with double sided tape. Then, I stamped, colored, and die cut the unicorns and stars with the coordinating die cuts. The unicorns are attached with foam tape and the stars are attached with liquid glue. Then, I finished the card by stamping a sentiment in the lower right corner. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day! :)

Happy Birthday Party with Hello Bluebird

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a fun card featuring Hello Bluebird stamps!

For this card, I used the Party Parade set to create a fun birthday party scene. I created the scene by using the Stitched Hillside Backdrop die from Lawn Fawn cut from Bristol smooth cardstock.

I used Distress Oxide inks to ink blend the sky and hillside. The critters are stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and attached with foam tape. I also added a banner along the top in a rainbow of colors. I stamped a few hearts in the sky with Wild Rose ink.

The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Words die. I die cut two layers and glued them together to make a thinker die cut. Here's a close look at the card:

I hope you like the cards! I really like that rainbow banner. :)

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Happy Birthday Parade with Hello Bluebird

Hi friends! I hope you're all having a good week. Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend? We're taking our first trip of the season to our local amusement park this weekend. My kids get passes every year, so we end up going quite a bit over the summer. It's always so fun!

Today, I have another card to share with you that features stamps from Hello Bluebird!

I used the Party Parade set to create a birthday parade! The critters in this parade are all so cute! I ink blended the background with Distress Oxide inks and used the Ray of Light stencil from My Favorite Things. The critters are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. After die cutting the critters, I attached them to the card with foam tape. I finished the card by stamping a few music notes in the sky with black ink.

Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you have a great weekend!! :)

Hello Friend with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I have a card to share today that features the Unicorn Tales stamp set from Hello Bluebird.

I created a simple inked background with Distress Oxide inks. I added two clouds to the bottom part of the card which are cut from the Puffy Cloud borders from Lawn Fawn.

The unicorn, shooting stars, and stars are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I used quite a few markers to make the unicorn mane and tails a rainbow! It turned out so pretty!

The sentiment is from the Hello Friend Words die. I die cut the "friend" part of the sentiment from black cardstock and glued two layers together. The "hello" is cut from white cardstock and lightly ink blended to give it a gradient look.

I hope you like the card! I have a few more cards featuring Hello Bluebird products that I will share in the next few weeks.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Just Stitching Double Rectangles

Hi everyone! Did you place your order for the new summer release from Lawn Fawn yesterday? I can't wait to see what everyone creates with the new products!

I have a card to share with you today that features the new Just Stitching Double Rectangle die!

The new die adds a really neat detail on your card without cutting out a rectangle. For this card, I used two of the stackables die to create a frame around my underwater scene. All of the images are from the new Seahorsin' Around stamp set. I started by ink blending a simple background with Distress Oxide inks. It's hard to tell in the picture, but I added some light rays to the top of the scene by making a stencil from the Sunrise Borders die out of acetate and inking it with Yeti ink. Then, I used the rectangle dies to add the stitching, attached the inked panel to a white card base, and attached all of the images with foam tape or glue. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for visiting today! And thank you for all of the sweet comments this week! I hope you all have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Tropical Backdrop, Sunrise Borders

Good morning! I hope you're all having a good week so far! Just a few more days until the Lawn Fawn summer release is available! Yay!!

Inspiration Week continues today with a look at some new dies!

This card features the new Tropical Backdrop and Sunrise Borders die. The Tropical Backdrop provides the frame, ground, and palm trees, and also includes the leaves and trunks for the trees. For this card, I used Distress Oxide ink to ink blend the beach and trees.

The Sunrise Borders die creates a really pretty detail for the background. I used Distress Oxide inks to ink blend a sunset sky, die cut it with the new sunrise die, and attached all of the pieces to a white card base. It's neat that you can use the die with the piece between the sun rays or without. I added a few clouds in the sky and also added a few clear sequins.

I used the new Stitched Simple Wavy Borders die to add some ocean waves behind the palm trees and sandy beach. Then, I added a boat and critters from the new Smooth Sailing set. I can't get over how cute those little critters are! I really hope that there are more of those critters in the future!

The sentiment is from the Outside In Stitched Speech Bubbles die. I cut three layers of the sentiment and glued them together so that it stands out a little bit from the scene. Here's a closer look at the card:

LF Inspiration Week: Smooth Sailing, Stitched Simple Wavy Borders

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn summer release and inspiration week continues today! All of the new products will be available on Thursday, May 16th, so start making your wish list!

Today, we are sharing inspiration with the new Smooth Sailing stamp set. The cutest part about this set is the little critters that hang out of the boat!

This card also features the new Stitched Simple Wavy Borders die. I die cut the waves and ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks. I also used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders to die cut a sandy beach for the light house. I lightly ink blended the sky and stamped a few birds and added some clouds.

The boats are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I used a white gel pen to add some details to the sails, and then added a critter to each boat. It's so cute that they hang over the edge of the boat!

To finish the card, I stamped a few waves in the ocean. I also white heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, die cut it with an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and attached it with foam tape. That's my favorite sentiment from this new set, haha!!

I hope you like the card! I found out that it's hard to photograph a slim line card when I'm so used to A2 sized cards, haha!

Make sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and check back here tomorrow for another card! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Speech Bubbles Frames

Hello everyone! The Lawn Fawn Release Week continues with a look at the new Speech Bubbles dies!

For this card, I used the Outside In Stitched Speech Bubbles die to cut out the floral paper from the Spring Fling collection. I also used the backside of the same patterned paper for the backgrounds. I added a white frame around the speech bubble which was cut from the Stitched Speech Bubble Frames. And I found out that the Scripty Hello die fits perfectly in the speech bubbles!

The card set turned out so cute, so I created another set with the Scripty Thanks die! The other part of the sentiments come from the Rub-A-Dub-Dub set (friend), Toadally Awesome (you're awesome), and Reveal Wheel Sentiments (just wanted to say) stamp sets.

This new die set would be so cute as a shaker card or even a shaped card! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

LF Inspiration Week: Critter Chatter: Pets, Speech Bubble Backdrop

Good morning! Are you enjoying all of the sneak peeks this week? What product has been your favorite so far?

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that features two new stamp sets and backdrop dies!

The cute doggies are from the new Say What? Pets set! The pets and sentiments work great with the Say What? Gift Tags, but they can also be used by themselves. I also used the new Critter Chatter: Pets set for the sentiment and to help create the background. (Fingers crossed that there will be more Critter Chatter sets in the future!)

To create the background, I die cut a piece of acetate with the new Speech Bubble Backdrop die to create a stencil. I taped the stencil over a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, and ink blended a background with various Distress Oxide inks into rainbow order. It turned out so pretty! I removed the stencil and then white heat embossed the sentiments to the speech bubble. This is such a cute design to create with the cat and bird, too! And you can change the sentiment to match any occasion!

I die cut the background with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and attached it to a white card base. Then, I added the dogs, sentiments, and hearts with foam tape. Here is a close up on the card:

I hope you like the card and that it has inspired you to create your own! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration featuring these new products! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Keep On Swimming

Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a great week! Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend? There's a local children's fair that we'll take the kids to this morning. They enjoy checking out the fire trucks and ambulances!

The Lawn Fawn release week continues today with a look at the new Keep On Swimming stamp set!

The kitty looking at the fish bowl is so cute! This set works great with the Reveal Wheel die, but it can also be used by itself. I created a scene with the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies cut from Sunflower cardstock. I layered a piece of Spiffy Speckled patterned paper on top cut from the Stitched Rectangle die. To create the ground, I used the Woodgrain cardstock and attached it to the bottom of the rectangle. The sentiment is white heat embossed, cut from an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and attached with foam tape.

I hope you like the cards! Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Center Picture Window Card Dies

Good morning! Lawn Fawn Release Week continues with a look at the new interactive die - the Center Picture Window Card die!

This new die creates a mini card that looks normal on the outside, but then when you open the card...

... it reveals a fun surprise inside!! This is so easy to assemble and it creates such a unique card! I can't wait to send this to a friend!

I used Distress Oxide inks to ink blend the background. I also used the new Peacock Before 'N Afters stamp set which is so cute! The before 'n afters set work great with this new die set. The clouds are from the new Smooth Sailing stamp set, and I also used the Shadow Box Card Park Add-On set to add some trees on the edge. The presents and cake are from the Beam Me Up stamp set.

How fun is that die!? I can't wait to see what everyone creates with this new product! Stop by the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration with this set!

LF Inspiration Week: On The Beach

Hi everyone! I'm excited to have some cards to share with you this week for the Lawn Fawn Release Week! All of the products that we share this week will be available for purchase on Thursday, May 16th on the Lawn Fawn website!

The first set that we're featuring is the new On The Beach set. This set features an adorable fox and bear lounging on the beach!

It also includes an umbrella, beach ball, and other accessories for the beach. I created two cards today with the same layout. I lightly inked the background with blending brushes and Distress Oxide inks. I also used a new product, Just Stitching Double Rectangle dies, to add some detail around the scene. The images are all stamped with Jet Black ink, colored with Copic markers, and are attached with foam tape or glue.

I created a second card with the same layout, but I used the fox! I really like the beach towel that is included in this set. It could also be used as a raft on the water! I also used the Bannertastic stamp set to highlight the sentiment.

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, and there is also a chance to win some of the new goodies! Thanks so much for visiting and I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration! :)

Hello Friend Card with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a good weekend so far! It's rainy and cold here today, so we're planning on staying inside all day.

I have a card to share with you today that features a few stamp sets from Hello Bluebird!

The birds are all from the Silly Birds stamp set. I stamped them onto 80 lb. Neenah cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I attached the birds with foam tape to a quick scene created from Mermaid cardstock and Cilantro cardstock cut from the Grassy Border die by Lawn Fawn

The sentiment is from the Cheery Greetings stamp set, which is one of my favorite sentiment sets! The scene is attached to a piece of patterned paper cut to 4" x 5 1/4", and then attached with double sided tape to a white card base. Here's a close up on the scene:

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)
