You Are a Deer!

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great week so far! I have a card to share with you today for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

The challenge this week is Animal Antics, so I used the Oh Deer set from Neat and Tangled. I stamped the deer on white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut the deer and sentiment with my Big Shot die cut machine.

To create the background, I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn to cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then, I ink blended a simple background with Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass ink. The background is attached to a white card base and the deer and sentiment are attached with foam tape. Then, I stamped the rest of the sentiment and added a few hearts from the Science of Love set in Wild Rose ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the card! Have a great week! :)

Sending You Hedge-Hugs with Technique Tuesday

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great day so far!

I have a cute card to share with you today that features the Henrietta Hedgehog set from Technique Tuesday! That little hedgehog is so cute!

This set is so fun, because it includes so many punny sentiments! You can use it to create so many different types of card by changing the sentiment that you use.

To create this card, I ink blended the sky and ground with Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I spritzed it with a little bit of water to add some detail to the background. The images are all stamped onto Neenah 80 lb. cardstock and are colored with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die cuts to cut the images and attach them to the card base. Some of the images are attached with foam tape, like the tree on the left, two of the mushrooms, and the hedgehog, and the other images are attached with liquid glue. I finished the card by adding a white heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock, and adding a twine bow along the top.

Thanks so much for visiting, and check out the Technique Tuesday blog for more inspiration using this set! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On

Good morning! I hope you're all having a great week! It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week, and today we're featuring the Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On dies!

There are so many cute winter accessories to include on the Woodland Critter Huggers! I used different colors of the Sparkle Cardstock to die cut the elements. I made a few different critters including a polar bear (hopefully it looks like a polar bear and not a cat, haha!), deer, penguin, and fox.

These critters will either become gift tags or will be added to the front of a small card base for a cute, mini card set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Outside In Stitched Christmas Tree Stackables

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Outside In Stitched Christmas Tree Stackables!

I used the Christmas tree dies and cut multiple trees from the Noble Fir cardstock. I used my bone folder to fold each of the trees in half, and glued them together to form a 3D Christmas tree! These would be so cute to add to a mantle or to just decorate around your house during Christmas time. I also used the Stitched Christmas Tree Frames to cut out the Christmas bulbs and star from patterned paper and sparkle cardstocks, and I also added a few clear sequins to help decorate the tree.

I made these for my daughter to decorate her room for Christmas, and she is so excited about these little trees! Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Reverse Stitched Scalloped Windows

Hi there! I hope that you had a great weekend! I have another card to share with you today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

Today, we are sharing cards that feature the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Windows dies. I used the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Windows to showcase a cute, winter scene.

The background is created by white heat embossing the falling snow from the Snow Cool stamp set. Then, I blending Distress Oxide inks over the falling snow to create the sky. I used the Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock to create a small hillside at the bottom of the scene. Then, I took another piece of white cardstock and die cut it with the scalloped window die and the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die, and attached it to the card base with foam tape. I colored some of the images from the Snow Cool set with Copic markers, and attached them to the scene with foam tape. To finish the card, I added a white heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock and die cut it with the Everyday Sentiment Banners. Here's a close up on the card:

I really like how the scalloped window adds a cute detail around the scene! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Gingerbread Friends

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Gingerbread Friends die!

These gingerbread friends are so cute! I cut them out of kraft cardstock and inked the edges with Doe ink to give them a crispy look, haha! Then, I added the details to the gingerbread with white, black, and pink cardstock. I added a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the bow, hearts, and dots for some extra detail.

For the sentiment, I cut the Scripty Sweet out of gold glitter cardstock from the Holiday Sparkle Cardstock set. The green paper for the background is from the Really Rainbow Christmas collection and I added vellum to the middle of the card to soften the green background. Here's a close up on the card:

Check out the rest of the projects from the design team on the Lawn Fawn blog! And stop by again tomorrow for more inspiration! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments

Hi everyone! I hope that your week went well! The weather cooled off this week (it went from high 70s to 50 degrees yesterday - brr!) and it finally feels like fall!  Cue the cozy sweaters and falling leaves!

Even though it feels like fall, I have a cute Christmas card to share with you that features the Reveal Wheel and Reveal Wheel Square Add-On dies.

I ink blending a blue sky with Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I also added a glittery hillside created from the Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock and the Stitched Hillside Borders die. The images are from the Winter Sparrows set and the log is from the Toadally Awesome set. The reveal wheel features different Christmas sentiments that are from the Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments set, and I used the Speech Bubble Add-On die to make it look like the sparrows are talking. I finished the card by stamping a few music notes and hearts above the sparrows, stamping the black arrow from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments set, and framing the scene with patterned paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas collection.

Here is another card that I created that features a few more sentiments from the Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments set! You can find the details about this card here.

I hope this inspires you to create some cute, Christmas cards! You can find more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Oh What Fun

Hi everyone! It's time again for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

The design team has lots of adorable inspiration to share with you all this week! Today, we are sharing projects that feature the Oh What Fun set.

I created a simple winter scene by ink blending a blue sky with Distress Oxide inks, and added a snowy hillside with the Stitched Hillside Borders die. I added a few trees in the background with the Stitched Tree Borders cut from kraft cardstock. I also added a deer from the Toboggan Together set to help pull the sled!

The sentiment is a mix of the Simply Winter Sentiments and Finley's ABCs, which are cut from black cardstock and coated with Wink of Stella clear glitter brush. I also added a border cut from the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows and Really Rainbow Christmas patterned paper to add a frame around the scene.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have any questions about this card, just let me know. And don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration with this set! :)
