Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Hi everyone! I hope your having a good weekend so far! I have a few cards that I wanted to share with you that I made recently! :)

These are my favorite cards to make and give at baby showers or to a new mom. I'm not sure where I saw that phrase, but it's a perfect reminder that our children are a gift from God!

These cards feature Lawn Fawn's Riley's ABCs stamps, and Quinn's ABCs stamps and dies. I also used the moon from Love You S'more set and the stars from the Upon A Star stamp set. The images are all colored with Copic markers, and the letters have clear stickles added on top for some extra sparkle.

Here's a boy verse of the same card. I actually made this design a few years ago (here's the card if you're interested), but I decided to update the look a little bit with a stitched card stock panel on the front and by using Copics instead of colored pencils. I really like the updated look!

I also wanted to let you all know about a sale that Technique Tuesday is having today and tomorrow to celebrate their birthday! Use the coupon code HB2U and receive 20% off of your order - yay! You can check out their products by clicking here!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend! :)

Lawn Fawn Glow-In-The-Dark Card

Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today that features some new products from Lawn Fawn!

This card uses the new Little Fireflies mini stamp set. Those fireflies are so cute, and they go perfectly with the Glow-In-The-Dark Embossing Powder! It's so cool!

To create this card, I stamped five fireflies and colored them with Copic markers - BV00, B60 for the bodies, BG10 for the wings, and Y06 and Y00 for the rear ends. :) Then, I created the scene by ink blending Wilted Violet and Faked Jeans distress oxide inks for the background. I also used Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron for the grass, which is cut from the Simple Grassy Hillsides die.

I then used the White Embossing Powder to emboss the sentiment on the background, and also to emboss the sentiment from the Lights Out set on black cardstock cut from the Everday Sentiment Banners. To create the "glows" sentiment, I removed the backing from a double-sided foam adhesive sheet and added the Glow-In-The-Dark Embossing Powder. After it was embossed with my heat gun, I die cut the letters from Finley's ABCs and attached the letters to the background. I also added some glue to the fireflies rear end and added some embossing powder to them, too. Here is what the card looks like in the dark!

The glow-in-the-dark powder is so much fun and it is such a unique effect to add to a card! Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Hay There

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week so far! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Hay There stamp set!

This might be my favorite set from the new release! The critters are just so cute in this set!

I colored all of the animals and the barn with Copic markers. I used the Stitched Hillside Borders die to cut three different hillsides and I ink blended them with Lemonade, Freshly Cut Grass, and the new Cilantro inks. To make the one hillside look like a hay field, I drew yellow lines on it with a Copic marker after it was ink blended with yellow ink. The sky is ink blended with Mermaid ink and the sentiment is stamped in black Memento ink. I also used the Little Picket Fence Border die and added it behind the barn. The card is finished with the new Ocean Sparkle Lawn Trimmings.

Thanks so much for stopping by! And thank you for all of your sweet comments this week! I hope you have enjoyed all of the inspiration this week, and I can't wait to see what everyone makes with the new products! Everything is available tomorrow at Lawn Fawn!

LF Inspiration Week: Outside In Easter Egg Stackables, Easter Egg Frames

Hi there! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Outside In Easter Egg Stackables and the Easter Egg Frames!

For my card, I used the Outside In Easter Egg Stackables to make an egg shaped card. I ink blended the sky with Mermaid ink. I also used the Stitched Garden Border for the ground and ink blended it with Doe ink.

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the bunnies and carrots from the Some Bunny stamp set. Those little bunnies are the cutest! I stamped the sentiment, added a white frame from the Easter Egg Frame, and I attached a twine bow at the top with a glue dot.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back again tomorrow with a few more cards to share with you! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Basket, Perfectly Plaid Spring

Hi everyone! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the new Stitched Basket die and Perfectly Plaid Spring patterned paper!

I made a banner with the little baskets to create a countdown to Easter!

The bunnies are from the Some Bunny and Hoppy Easter sets, and the numbers are die cut from the Quinn's 123s dies and black cardstock.

Each basket has a roll of paper with a Bible verse to read each day leading up to Easter! It's going to be a fun way to help my kiddos learn more about the details leading up to the Resurrection and to help them keep their focus on Christ during the Easter season.

In case you're interested, here are the verses in each basket:
Palm Sunday - The Triumphal Entry - Mark 11:1-11
Monday - Jesus Anointed at Bethany - Mark 14:3-9
Tuesday - Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet - John 13:1-5
Wednesday - The Lord's Supper - Mark 14:16-25
Thursday - Gethsemane - Mark 14:32-46
Good Friday - The Crucifixion - Mark 15:21-39
Saturday - The Burial - Mark 15:42-47

LF Inspiration Week: Little Flowers, Stitched Garden Border, Some Bunny

Good morning! I hope that you're having a good weekend and that you're enjoying all of the inspiration from the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

My first card features the new Little Flowers die set. These flowers and flower pots are so cute! I die cut the flowers from a variety of LF cardstocks. I also used the new Quilted Backdrop die set with Really Rainbow patterned paper behind it.

The sentiment is from the Simply Sentiments and Bannertastic stamp sets. Here is a close up on the flower card:

I shared this card last month, but it's too cute to not share again. This card features the Some Bunny stamp set (those bunnies are so cute!), Little Flowers, and the Stitched Garden Border. The garden border creates that super cute hillside with the little dirt mounds, and you can slide the veggies behind the little hills! It also is the same curve as the Simple Grassy Hillsides!

I used the Bannertastic set to highlight the sentiment that is included in the Some Bunny set.

You can find more inspiration from the LF design team on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks for visiting and I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On die!

I used the dies to create a spring house mini card set, similar to the winter house that I made last year. The little bunny in this set is just too cute!

I created the cards by using a variety of LF cardstocks. The speech bubble and heart are from the new Speech Bubbles die set (it's one of my favorite new sets!). I ink blended with blue and pink ink on the edges of the roof, speech bubble, and the house. Here's a close up on the cards:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? We're taking our church's youth group ice skating this evening and I'm anticipating it to be super busy because everyone has been watching the Olympics this week, haha!

LF Inspiration Week: Pivot Pop-Up

Hi there! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Pivot Pop-Up die!

This new die is so much fun and it creates the coolest cards! The front of the card features the Rub-A-Dub-Dub duckies and tub colored with Copic markers. The scalloped border around the white panel is from the Perfectly Plaid Spring collection.

And then when you open the card...

... bam! It pops up!! It's such a fun surprise! I used Cole's ABCs die and the new Simply Sentiments for the pop-up panels. The scene on the inside features the cute ducks again, as well as the Cloudy Hillside Pop-Up Add-On die. The pivot pop-up looks complicated, but it's really easy to create once you get used to it. I can't wait to make more cards with this new die!

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! Thanks so much for visiting today! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Quilted Backdrop

Hi everyone! I hope you're excited because it's release week for Lawn Fawn! Yay! The design team will be sharing lots of cute inspiration this week and all of the new Lawn Fawn products will be available on Thursday, February 22nd.

Today, I am sharing a colorful card that features the new Quilted Backdrop die.

I started by using the Quilted Backdrop die to dry emboss a piece of white cardstock. Instead of cutting the cardstock, I opened my Big Shot platform to tab 1, added the cutting plate and then a rubber mat, then the paper and die, and finally the top cutting plate. Running that order through the Big Shot creates a really fun texture instead of cutting through the paper. Then, I used Distress Oxide inks (Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber, Lucky Clover, Broken China, and Wilted Violet) to create a colorful background. After that, I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables to die cut the inked panel and attached it to a white card base.

For the sentiment, I used the Scripty Thanks die to cut three layers from white cardstock and attached them together with the new Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. I also used the new Simply Sentiments set embossed onto black cardstock with white embossing powder, and attached it with foam tape. Here's a close up on the card so that you can see the quilted detail:

There's so much inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog that features this new Quilted Backdrop die, so don't forget to check it out! And I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration! Thanks for stopping by! :)
