Christmas Wreath Card Set and Video

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share with you today my first ever card video!! You can view the video on my YouTube Channel or watch the video below!

In the video, I share with you how to create this Christmas wreath card set featuring products from Lawn Fawn.

The wreath is from the new Mini Wreath die and the scalloped panel is the new Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die (it's so pretty!). This card also features the Bannertastic stamp and die, Riley's ABCs stamp set, Louie's ABCs die, and LF cardstock - Noble Fir, Cilantro, Black Licorice, and Raspberry.

Here is a close up of the cards that were created!

I really like that big and bold die cut sentiment! And it looks so cute and festive with the wreath in place of the letter O.

I think the Joy card is my favorite!

LF Inspiration Week: Shut The Front Door

Good morning! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing different projects, including projects that use the new Shut The Front Door die.

First of all, that is an awesome name for a die! And secondly, look how cool it looks when you create a door!!

Ah, this die is awesome! I can't wait to make more new house cards, Christmas cards with carolers, birthday cards - there are just so many ideas for this die!

For my card, I used the die, along with the Fall Tiny Tags (for the bushes), Bannertastic stamp and die, the "welcome" from Little Bundle, the new Knock On Wood patterned paper, Ballet Slipper ink (for the hearts) and Noble Fir, Cilantro, and Storm Cloud cardstock. This is what the door says on the inside:

Interactive cards are so much fun to create! Don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration!

LF Inspiration Week: Forest Feast and Birch Trees

Hi everyone! Were you able to see the ecplise yesterday from where you were located? There was a thunderstorm right when it was starting in my area, but we were able to catch a glimpse when there was a break in the clouds. It wasn't a total ecplise where I  was at, but it was still really neat to see. Isn't it so cool how God arranged the sun and moon to line up perfectly?!

Anyways, today the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the Forest Feast set and Birch Trees dies.

These are the cards that were included in my Gift Box set that I shared a few days ago (you can see the gift box here). The cards match the cover on the gift box, but have different critters and images in the scenes.

Each of these cards use the Stitched Hillside Border and the new Outside In Stitched Scalloped Stackables die.

The sentiment is cut from Ballet Slipper cardstock with the Everyday Sentiment Banners. To create the sentiment, I selectively stamped the words from the Forest Feast sentiment to make them fit on the banner.

The background is created by inking white cardstock with Mermaid, Merman, Freshly Cut Grass, and Jalapeno inks.

Here is another card that I shared a few weeks ago during the Lawn Fawn sneak week. You can find out the details of this card here. I think this is my favorite card from the entire week!

There are a lot more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, and there is also a chance to win this adorable set, so go and enter! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop

Hello and happy Monday! I'm back again to share a Christmas card with you that features the new Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die!

This die adds such a cool woodgrain look to paper! For this card, I used kraft paper with the Woodgrain Backdrop die, and I also die cut it from the Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables. Then, I added a Large Wreath cut from Noble Fir and Cilantro cardstock. I also used Rasberry cardstock for the berries and added a coat of clear stickles on top of them.

The bow is included with the Large Wreath die and is cut from Knit Picky Collection patterned paper. I also added a banner from the Bannertastic set with the sentiment from the new Here We Go A-Waddling stamp set. Here is a close to show you the stitched detail:

LF Inspiration Week: Gift Box and Fall Tiny Tags

Hi there! I hope you're having a great weekend so far! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Gift Box die and Fall Tiny Tags die!

I created a gift box from the Knock On Wood paper collection. For the scene on the front of the box, I die cut a piece of white paper from the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and inked the sky with Mermaid and Fish Tank ink. I also die cut another piece of white cardstock with the Stitched Hillside Border die and inked it with Freshly Cut Grass and Jalapeno ink.

I also added the new Birch Trees and a critter from the Forest Feast set (he's so cute!). Then, I added the Fall Tiny Tags cut from Noble Fir and Sunflower cardstock. The sentiment is from the Tiny Tag Sayings stamp set, and I also added some brown twine.

Plus, the box contains this adorable card set! The cards match the scene on the front, but with different critters (all from the Forest Feast set), and they also have an Everyday Sentiment Banner cut from Ballet Slipper cardstock and stamped with a sentiment from the Forest Feast set. I can't wait to send this set to a friend!

Check out the other awesome projects from the Lawn Fawn design team. They're all awesome! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: How You Bean? Candy Corn Add-On

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a great week! Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend. We're just going to enjoy the last few days at home before school starts next week. Why does the summer always go by so fast?!

The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today, and I am sharing a card that features the new How You Bean? Candy Corn Add-On set! This set coordinates with the How You Bean? stamp and die to make cute fall and Halloween cards. Who wouldn't want to receive a card with candy corn on it?!

For this card, I also used the new Stitched Scalloped Square Stackables, patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid Chill collection, and lawn trimmings.

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Shadow Box

Good morning! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the new Shadow Box Card die!

This die is so neat!! It creates a 3-D shadow box that folds flat, so it still fits inside an envelope! Genius!

For my card, I used the critters from the new Forest Feast set, along with presents from Baaah Humbug, and hats from Hang In There. The sentiment is from the new Celebration Countdown set and Bannertastic set stamped with Fresh Lavender ink. This side view helps to see how 3-D the box is, as well as the layers and dimension that you can create inside the box:

The design team has some amazing samples on the Lawn Fawn blog today, so check them out! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with this awesome new die!!

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Costume Party

Hi everyone! I hope you're excited for a new Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The design team will be sharing lots of projects this week and all of the new products will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 24th! Woohoo!

Today, we're going to take a look at the new Costume Party set. These kids are so cute and are ready for Halloween!

My first card features three trick-or-treaters colored with Copic markers. I also used the Stitched Cloud Backdrop, Stitched Hillside Borders, Stitched Tree Borders, and Sun and Moon. I also used a variety of Lawn Fawn cardstock to help create the scene. Here's a close up:

I can't decide which I like better - the dinosaur or unicorn costumes. They're both so cute!!

My second card features some of the other kids that are included in this set.

This card features the Stitched Circle Stackables, Simple Grassy Hillsides, Stitched Cloud Backdrop, and Everyday Sentiment Banners. The best houses always gave the king sized candy bars, haha!

I hope that you enjoyed the inspiration using the new Costume Party set. Which costume is your favorite in the set? There is a lot more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, and I'm so excited to share more projects with you this week!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! :)

Floral Congrats Card

Hi there! I wanted to pop in and share a colorful, floral congrats card with you today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's Fab Flowers, Big Scripty Words, and Dotted Circle Stackable. I also used a ton of different LF inks: Wild Rose, Ballet Slippers, Celery Stick, Freshly Cut Grass, Sunflower, Carrot, Fresh Lavender, Grape Soda, and Jet Black Ink. I started by stamping and die cutting the different flowers and leaves, as well as the sentiment. Then, I cut a piece of white cardstock smaller than the card base and die cut a circle in the middle. I die cut another circle and made it into a frame. Then I used foam tape to attached the white cardstock panel and the sentiment, so there's lots of dimension around the sentiment. This turned out so pretty and I can't wait to make more with different sentiments!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

CardMaps Sketch

Hi everyone! Can you believe that it's already August?! Where has the summer gone? We're trying to fit in a few more family activities before the school year starts again! Do you have anything fun planned for the rest of the summer?

This month, the Lawn Fawn team partnered with PageMaps to share some card sketch inspiration! You can find a full list of cards under the CardMaps tab. I used the sketch shown above to create this card:

For the background, I inked a piece of white cardstock with Mermaid, Fish Tank, Walnut, and Doe ink. Then, I used the Stitched Windy Backdrop to make the background look like waves, and also the Stitched Outside In Circle Stackables to frame the sentiment. The images are from Mermaid For You and are all colored with Copic Markers. I added some bubbles stamped in Fish Tank ink, and a few blue embellishments that I had in my craft stash.

Thanks for stopping by! And if you're ever stumped on what to create, check out the different sketches available on the PageMaps page! :)
