25 Days of Christmas Tags

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US! I hope that you're able to enjoy the day with family and friends! I can't believe that it is already the end of November! In just a few days, my little girl will be turning one - ahh! Where did this year go!?

Anyways, on a brighter note, I am excited to be participating in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags organized by Tracey McNeely! Tracey was kind enough to invite the Lawnscaping Team to join in the fun this year, and of course we were excited to participate! :)

The tags that I decided to make are not only great for Christmas, but could also be used for birthday or any other occasion.

Who doesn't enjoy a good animal pun on their gifts!? :) These cards feature Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm," "Tag, You're It" stamp and dies, and "Cole's ABCs" die. I also used some silver sparkle Lawn Trimmings around the white ribbon at the top. I had to do a little bit of masking to get the sentiment just right, but that is super easy to do. The sheep are colored with Prismacolor pencils and I also used some glitter paper for the "ewe" letters.

Don't forget to leave a comment on Tracey's blog for a change to win some amazing prizes from Lawn Fawn, Paper Smooches, Neat and Tangled, CAS-ual Fridays, Clearly Besotted, and Reverse Confetti.

Also, leave a comment on my blog, as well as the other Lawnscaping Team's blogs, for additional chances to win! You have until the end of today, November 27, to comment, and the winners will be announced on November 28 on Tracey's blog.

Thanks again for stopping by and have a Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Lawnscaping #94 - Count Me In!

Happy Monday! I hope that you had a good weekend! It snowed here this weekend - brr! Why does it have to snow?!

We have a fun Lawnscaping Challenge for you this week! The challenge is to use numbers somewhere in your project!

There are so many ways to use numbers in your project! I decided to use numbers to make a birthday card for my husband! This was perfect timing, too, since his birthday is this week!

The numbers that I used are stickers that I had lying around, but Lawn Fawn has so many cute number dies that would work great for this card! This card also features "Hats Off to You," "Year Two," and "Hello Sunshine" stamp sets from Lawn Fawn. The stars and hearts are from "Sweet Christmas." The balloons are stamped with blue, yellow, and teal inks, and the rest of the images are colored with Prismacolor pencils to match. I wanted the balloons to have a black outline to coordinate with the other images, so I used a fine point black marker to trace around the image. It worked pretty well, but you can see that the lines are crooked (like on the heart balloon!) Oh well, I still really like how everything came together and how fun this card looks! Perfect for a birthday!

Well, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to play along! The winner of this challenge will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn! :)

Mr. and Mrs. Owl

Hi everyone! I hope that your week is going well! Things are going pretty well here. I am keeping busy at home with the baby and getting a ton of things done around the house. Yay for productivity! :)

I have another wedding card to share with you! This is one of my favorites that I created this summer. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Owl!

The background didn't turn out super well, but I still really like the big, bold stripes! I masked the background and then used various pink inks to create the background. The bottom stripe doesn't look that bad in real life! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters in the Arctic," "Riley's ABCs," and "Home Sweet Home" stamps, as well as the "Hearts" die.

Thanks for stopping by! Also, don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog today for some more Christmas and holiday card inspiration! Have a great day! :)

Have a Sweet Christmas!

Good morning! I hope that you had a lovely weekend!
I have a fun card to share with you as part of the Lawn Fawn Fawny Holiday Week! :)

Here is the card that I created:

I had so much fun creating this card! I used a ton of little images from Lawn Fawn's "Sweet Christmas" and "Milk and Cookies" stamp sets. For the sentiment, I used "Finley's ABCs," as well as "Sweet Christmas" again. All of the images are colored with Prismacolor colored pencils and attached to the card base with foam tape.

Well, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other adorable projects on the Lawn Fawn Blog! There will be inspiration all week - I can't wait to see what everyone created! Have a good day! :)

Etsy Shop Saturday!

Yay the weekend is finally here!  We're planning on doing some yard work before it gets too cold, go to a craft show to look around, and maybe do a little bit of shopping! Ah, relaxing! :)

I have another Whimsipost Etsy Shop card to share with you today! There is a girls version:

And also a boys version!

I used Stampin' Up's "Wild About You" stamp set, along with Lawn Fawn's "Critters Down Under" stamps for the sentiment and hearts. The images are stamped in pink, yellow, and orange inks for the girls card, and blue, green (although the pictures makes it looks teal!), and grey ink for the boys card. The smiling crocodile is my favorite image in that set!

Well, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other cards available in the Whimsipost Etsy Shop! Have a good weekend! :)

Mr. and Mrs.

Hello again! I'm back to share another wedding card with you!

Before we get to the wedding card, I wanted to let you know that next week is the Fawny Holiday Week on the Lawn Fawn blog! Don't forget to check it out to see a ton of Christmas and holiday inspiration!

And now, onto the card!

I made this for my mom to give at my cousin's wedding this summer. It features Lawn Fawn's "Violet's ABCs" stamp set (for the and), "Finley's ABCs" and "Heart" die cuts, gold sparkle Lawn Trimmings, and patterned paper from Let's Polka. I die cut the letters and hearts from glitter card stock so they are nice and sparkly! For the background, I attached the patterned paper, added the doily on top, and then covered them in a layer of vellum. I finished off the card by adding the twine and hearts at the top. This card was perfect for my cousin's wedding because they used Mr. and Mrs. in the wedding invitations and in a lot of the decorations at the reception.

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a good day! I'm going to try to get some crafts done this afternoon while the baby is sleeping! :)

Bride and Groom Love!

Good morning! After posting my Lawnscaping project yesterday, I realized that my poor blog has been neglected lately. So, I am here to fix that this week with a few cards I made a while ago! My husband and I attended a bunch of wedding this summer, so I am going to share a few wedding cards this week. Here is one of my favorites:

I made this card for my aunt and uncle. They wanted that saying to be on the card somewhere, so I printed it onto white card stock in a light purple ink. I don't remember where I got the bride and groom stamp, but it's the perfect image for a wedding card! I stamped the image and colored it in with Prismacolor pencils. Then, I die cut a heart using Lawn Fawn's "Heart" dies from light purple card stock, coated it in stickles, and attached the heart and twine at the top of the card. I really like how this card turned out!

Well, thanks for stopping by! I'll try to be back soon with another card! :)

Lawnscaping #93 - Fall & Pumpkins

Happy Monday everyone! Can you believe that it is already November?! Wow, this year is going by so fast! It got really cold in central PA this weekend and I am definitely not ready for the cold weather! Brrr!

Since it's the first Monday of the month, that means there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge! The current challenge is to create a project that focuses on fall and/or pumpkins.

Here is the card that I created:

I used Lawn Fawn's "So Thankful" stamp set (those pumpkins are so cute!), Sweater Weather patterned paper, Scripty Thanks die cut, and Cloudy Lawn Trimmings. I used a partial die technique to make the sentiment frame. Here is a close up of the sentiment.

I also added stickles to the thanks (but it's a little bit hard to see). I added a piece of vellum over the patterned paper so help make the sentiment a little bit easier to see (I should have used a color other than white!).

Well, I hope that you're able to play along with the challenge! The sponsor for this challenge is Simon Says Stamp and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate!
