Lawnscaping Challenge #30

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Today I have a card for this week's Lawnscaping Challenge.

The challenge for this week is to create a card inspired by a fellow crafter. I based my card on Maureen's adorable card which you can see here. Once I saw that colorful banner, I knew I wanted to make something fun with my new Lawn Fawn stamp set, Gnome Sweet Gnome. So, here is my card:

Hehe! I think it's cute! I used color pencils to color everything and some images are attached with foam tape (my favorite!).

Oh, and do the bows on the banner look familiar? They're off of the mobile from Lawn Fawn's Plus One set! They were perfect for a banner!

I am also entering this card into Paper Crafts monthly gallery challenge which was to make a card with bands of colors. Thanks for stopping by!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #45

Good evening! I'm back with a card for this week's CAS-ual Friday Challenge! The challenge was to create a card using pastel colors and black. I immediately thought of a rainbow, so I made this card:

To make the rainbow, I arced a border stamp onto my stamp block! It worked great! I also added a little bit of glitter to the tops of the clouds and adhered them with foam tape to give them some more dimension. I like how they turned out!

I am also entering this card into Paper Crafts monthly gallery challenge. Their challenge is to make a card with bands of color. What's better than a rainbow!

And here is my second card:

I recently received the new Lawn Fawn stamp set "Gnome Sweet Gnome" and let me tell you, it's adorable! I'm sure you will see some more cards from that set. Well, thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the beautiful weather today!

Lawnscaping Challenge #29

Good morning everyone! I have two cards to share with you today! I made both of these cards for the Lawnscaping Challenge this week. The challenge was to create a card based on this sketch:

I used the sketch to make a birthday card!

I know of so many birthdays in March and April, so I need to get the ball rolling on birthday cards. I think this is a good start! It's hard to see in the picture, but I used a glossy accent on the icing to make it look like sticky, gooey icing. And I used dimensional tape on the cake and hearts.

Here is a close up on the cake:
