LF Inspiration Week: XOXO Backdrop

Good morning! It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! All of the new products will be available at the Lawn Fawn store tomorrow, Thursday, December 12th! Yay!

Today, the design team is sharing inspiration that features the new XOXO Backdrop die. For my card, I used the backdrop die to cut acetate to create a reusable stencil! I love to use my dies to create stencils that I can use over and over again!

I started by taking a white cardstock panel and adding a bunch of hearts with the Just Stitching Hearts die. I made sure that a few of the hearts overlapped to help fill up the background. I used the stitching hearts and scrap paper to make a mask for each of the hearts and ink blended them with light ink. I taped down the heart mask and then laid the XOXO stencil that I created on top and ink blended with a darker ink for each of the hearts. I love the little xoxo's that are in the background!

To create the sentiment, I die cut the black sparkle cardstock with the Scripty Love die and attached it to the card. The "sending" is from the Stud Puffin stamp set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and attached with foam tape. I added the cardstock panel to a white card base and finished by adding a few clear sequins to the background. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thank you so much for visiting and for all of your comments this week! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with the new products!

I hope you all have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Just Stitching Hearts

Hi friends! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Just Stitching Hearts die! This die set is cute and adds such a cute detail on cards!

I started by using a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, die cutting it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die, and then using the Just Stitching Hearts to add three hearts on the cardstock panel. I used the stitching heart on a piece of scrap paper to create a mask over the cardstock panel so that I could ink blend just the heart area and also flick white ink over the hearts. I really like how the ink blended heart looks in the background!

Then, I stamped, colored, and die cut images from the new You're Just My Type stamp set and added them with foam tape onto the cardstock panel. I also added a glass of water from the Ho-ho-holidays set, flowers from the Easter Party set, and pencil from the Plan On It: School set. The flowers in the vase is my favorite part of this card! I finished by adding a few die cut hearts from the Heart Shaker Gift Tag die and white heat embossing the sentiment onto Pencil Eraser cardstock cut with the Fancy Wavy Banners die.

You can find a video on how to recreate this card on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel!

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Heart Shaker Gift Tag

Hello again! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration and Release week continues today with a look at the new Heart Shaker Gift Tag set!

This die is perfect to create heart shaped shaker tags, but it can also be used to create cute and quick heart shaped tags! For my tags, I used Guava and Ballet Slippers cardstock to die cut the tags and small hearts. I stamped sentiments from the new Love Poems stamp set on the front, and added the to and from lines on the back with the Tiny Tag Sayings stamp set. To finish, I tied some Orchid Twine to the tags. Super quick and easy!

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more ways to use this fun gift tag die and for a video on how I created these tags!

Thanks so much for visiting! I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stud Puffin

Hi friends! I'm back again to share a card featuring the new Stud Puffins stamp set from Lawn Fawn! How cute are those puffins?!

I used the puffins to create this fun scene! To help create the scene, I used the Stitched Mountain Borders, Grassy Hillside Borders, and Stitched Hillside Borders cut from white cardstock and ink blended with Distress Oxide inks.

The puffins are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I also added a few rocks from the Mermaid for You and You Are Sublime stamp sets. I wanted to make the sentiment big and bold, so I stamped the first part with black ink, and cut out the puffin letters in black cardstock with Finley's ABCs die. I finished the card by adding a few hearts cut with the new Heart Shaker Gift Tag and a frame cut from the Leafy Tree Backdrop die.

There's more inspiration over on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: You're Just My Type and Love Poems

Good morning, friends! Get ready because the adorable Lawn Fawn Release week starts today! This week the design team will be sharing inspiration from the new Valentine's Day release which will be available for purchase on Thursday, December 12th. Just in time for Christmas, too! :)

Today, we are sharing inspiration that features the You're Just My Type and Love Poems stamp sets! These two sets are adorable and they work perfectly together!

I stamped the typewriters onto white cardstock and colored them with pink, orange, green, and blue Copic markers. I also stamped the mice holding the paper from the Love Poems stamp set and added different sentiments on each of the papers. One of the dies included in the You're Just My Type coordinating die cuts a line in the typewriter so that you can slide the paper inside. It looks so cute, especially with those mice holding the top of the paper! I used the the new Heart Shaker Gift Tag die to cut a bunch of pink hearts to add around the images. The background is created with Distress Oxide inks and cut with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames and I added the sentiment with the Simple Wavy Banners die. Here's a close look at the card:

Lawn Fawn Black Friday Special

Hi friends! I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving this year! There are so many things that we all have to be thankful for! :)

To help kick off your Christmas shopping, Lawn Fawn is offering this adorable mini set featuring a sleeping sloth for Black Friday! This special set is available at the Lawn Fawn store while supplies last. Orders over $35 will receive the free stamp set, and orders over $60 will receive the coordinating dies. Plus, shipping is free on all U.S. orders! Yay!

How cute is the sloth!?

I used the Woodgrain cardstock and die cut it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangles and Outside In Stitched Circle dies to create the front panel. I used Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks to ink blend a sky behind the circle. I added the sloth with foam tape in the circle and stamped the "zzzz..." above his head. I also used the Flower Power die to create the leaves above the sloth. The leaves could also be created with the Stitched Leaves or Stitched Flower Frame. I finished the card by adding the sentiment below the circle by white heat embossing the sentiment onto black cardstock and attaching it with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the card:

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi friends! I'm excited to be sharing a Christmas tag with you today for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags from Tracey McNeely! Check out her blog for all of the information and for a chance to win a giveaway!

I created a fun set of Christmas tags using products from Lawn Fawn! The tags were created from the Say What? Gift Tags die and ink blended with distress oxide inks. I also used the Stitched Hillside Borders cut from Pixie Dust cardstock and attached it along the bottom edge of the tags. I used white embossing powder to emboss the sentiment from Tiny Tag Sayings stamp set.

My favorite part of these tags is the little people inside the car! I first stamped the car from the Home For the Holidays stamp set. I created a mask for the car by stamping the car onto a sticky note and cutting out the windows of the car. Then, I placed the mask down and stamped the people and dog from the Tiny Christmas stamp set into the windows. They fit perfectly! I stamped the trees in Noble Fir ink and attached them to the top of the car. I finished by adding twine to the tags.

I hope these tags inspire you to create Christmas tags for your presents this year! Thanks so much for visiting today! :)

Fawny Holiday Week

Good morning! It's the Fawny Holiday Week and the design team, Lawn Fawnatics team, video design team, and Fawnies at the LFHQ are sharing holiday projects this week!

I have a card set to share today that helps to remind us of the true reason for Christmas.

I took a piece of white cardstock, die cut it with the Stitched Square Stackables die, and ink blended it with light green ink. I used the pine needle branches from the Frosty Fairy Friends stamp set and stamped them in Noble Fir and Cilantro ink around the edges. I attached the panel to a card base made with the Noble Fir cardstock.

I used a variety of stamp sets to create the sentiment. The "oh" is from the Winter Big Scripty Words stamp and die set. The "adore" is from Quinn's ABCs stamp and die set. The "come let us" is from the Winter Skies, Meow You Doin', and Offset Sayings: Christmas stamp sets. And the "Him" is created with Riley's ABCs stamp set. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs, and I love how this card turned out!

Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more Christmas inspiration.

Merry Mice with Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics

Hi friends! Lawn Fawn has a fun surprise for you all today! They have teamed up with Chibitronics to bring you this adorable, exclusive stamp set and card making kit! The kit includes a medium sized stamp set, coordinating dies, lights, template, and easy-to-follow instructions. The kit is available at Lawn Fawn and the Chibitronic stores while supplies last!

I created an outdoor scene for the mice to decorate their Christmas tree. The images are all stamped onto white cardstock with Jet Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and to add the hole in the star for the light. Then, I used white embossing powder for part of the sentiment and Finley's ABCs dies for the "mice" all with black cardstock. The "mice" letters were coated with the LF glitter pen for some extra sparkle.

The background was created by heat embossing the snow from the Snowy Backdrops stamp set. Then, I ink blended the background with Peacock and Blue Jay ink. I created a snowy hillside with the Stitched Hillside Borders die from white cardstock, and I also created a frame by cutting out the tree from the Leafy Tree Backdrop die. Once the scene was created, I lined up the front panel with a white card base and used a pencil to mark where the light needed to go. I created a simple circuit with the Chibitronics kit, placed the battery to make sure that the circuit worked, and then added two layers of foam tape around the battery and all over the card base. Then, I attached the front panel to the base! It's so satisfying to push that little present and see the star light up!

Here's a closer look at the card with the star lit up. My daughter had a lot of fun being a hand model for me, haha! I also think she might try to sneak this card to keep in her room and play with at night!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration using this stamp set and card kit, and don't forget to order the kit at the Lawn Fawn store before supplies run out! Have a great day! :)

Hi friends! I hope you all had a great week! Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? We are getting ready for a charity trivia night! I doubt we'll win, but we're looking forward to fun evening together with friends.

I have a card to share with you today that features the Adventure Time Snapshot Etched Dies from Spellbinders. These dies are part of the Scenic Snapshots Collection.

I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn cardstock to create this card including Noble Fir, Blue Jay, Narwhal, Chocolate Bar, and Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock for the snow capped mountains. The sky is spritzed with some Liquid Stardust and the grass has flecks of black ink. To add some extra dimension, I added the pine trees to the scene with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the scene:

I hope this inspires you to create some fun adventure cards! My sons favorite part is that little campfire and I really like those tiny stars.

Mighty Hands Inspiration Week - Kings and Priests and Handwritten Alpha

Hi friends! It's the last day of the Mighty Hands Inspiration Week! I have a sweet card to share with you today that uses the new Kings and Priests and Handwritten Alpha stamp sets!

The images in the Kings and Priests set is so cute. My daughter really likes the princess image, so I figured it was the perfect image to use for her birthday card! I created the scene by using a cloud stencil to ink blend the sky and added the grass by die cutting cardstock with the Simple Grassy Hillsides by Lawn Fawn. I added the princess in the middle with foam tape, and I also added the dove from the Peace Words set, a few grass pieces from the Bold As A Lion stamp set, and a few small hearts stamped in pink ink.

The white frame around the scene is from Lawn Fawn's Foursquare Backdrop die - I created it by cutting out the inside frame! I used the Handwritten Alpha set to stamp my daughter's name along the bottom and I added a sentiment from the You Words stamp set. This turned out so sweet and my daughter loves her card!

Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you have a great evening! :)

Mighty Hands Inspiration Week - Bold As A Lion

Good evening! It's Day 4 of the Might Hands Inspiration Week and I have a card to share today that features the Bold As A Lion stamp set!

I created a grassy scene for the lions to play in by die cutting green cardstock with the Simple Grassy Hillsides die from Lawn Fawn. The images are all stamped with black ink, colored with Copic markers, and attached with foam tape. I stamped a few leaves and hearts in the background, as well as the sentiment. I finished the card by adding a white frame around the scene and adding a few leaves along the top. Here's another look of the card to show the dimension:

Mighty Hands Inspiration Week - Good Gift and Peace Words

Hello again! I have two cards to share with you today that feature products from the new Mighty Hands release!

My first card features the new Good Gift stamp set. This set is so cute and it would be perfect to create a new baby card!

To create my card, I started by using a cloud stencil and ink blending a light blue cloudy sky. I used Lawn Fawn's Rose Gold embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment in the lower left corner. I stamped the child and balloon onto white cardstock, colored the image with Copic markers, and fussy cut the image out. I attached the image with foam tape, and them stamped a few birds in the sky. I also stamped a few small hearts in pink ink from a Lawn Fawn stamp set that I had in my stash.

My second card showcases the Peace Words stamp set. I like the big, scripty "peace" and how it can work with the smaller sentiments included in the set.

I started with a piece of purple paper from Lawn Fawn's Watercolor Wishes paper pack and die cut it with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die.  I kept the frame with the dark side up, but I flipped the inside rectangle over so that the lighter paper was inside the frame. Then, I stamped the "peace" in purple ink, and white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment on black cardstock. I attached the black cardstock and the dove with foam tape, and I also used foam tape to pop up the frame. This would be so cute to recreate in a variety of colors!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to check out more inspiration on the Mighty Hands Instagram page and to enter the giveaway! And there's free shipping in the Mighty Hands store until October 31st! :)

Mighty Hands Inspiration Week - Children of God

Hi friends! I'm back again today with another card to share featuring products from the new Mighty Hands release! Today, I am sharing a card that uses the Children of God stamp set.

Our faith in Jesus makes us all children of God! To create this card, I started by stamping the children in black ink, coloring them with Copic markers, and cutting out the images. The background was created by adhering a piece of Purple Posies patterned paper from Lawn Fawn to a white card base. I cut a panel from white cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and taped that to the patterned paper. Then, I stamped the sentiment in black ink, attached the children with foam tape, and glued a few sequins to fill in the white space. How cute are those children?!

There is more inspiration on the Mighty Hands Instagram page and a chance to win a $25 gift card each day of the Instagram blog hop! Don't forget to enter!

Fall Birds with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope that you're all having a great day so far. I have a card to share with you that features a few products from Hello Bluebird!

Hello Bluebird hosts a monthly challenge on Instagram, and the challenge this month was to create a card showing what we love about fall! My favorite part about fall is the beautiful leaves and cooler weather. I decided to use the Silly Birds stamp set to create my fall card. I love how versatile this set is - it can be used to create any season of card!

I stamped the birds in black ink and colored them with Copic markers in shades of brown. I used reds, oranges, and browns for the leaves and I also added a few pink hearts. The background is created by ink blended with distress oxide inks - Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Wild Honey. I also flicked some black ink to the background for some extra detail. The sentiment is die cut with the Hello Friend Words die in gold sparkle cardstock and the hello from the Silly Birds set is white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

I really like how this card turned out and I can't wait to send it to a friend this fall! Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you all have a great week! :)

Mighty Hands Inspiration Week - Good News

Hi friends! I hope that you all had a great weekend! I enjoyed some craft time with my sister-in-law and also a corn maze with the youth group from church. It was a little wet, but we all had a great time!

I'm so excited to be guest designing with Mighty Hands this week! Mighty Hands is a family-run company in Singapore that creates Christian clear stamps with a mission to share God's love. I have a bunch of inspiration to share with you that features their new release which is perfect for Christmas.

My card today features the Good News stamp set! This set is so cute and helps to focus on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus.

I started by stamping the images onto Neenah 80 lb. cardstock in Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink, coloring the images with Copic markers, and fussy cutting the images. Then, I started working on the background. I used a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackable die. I used different shades of Lawn Fawn's blue inks to ink blend the sky. Then, I used white paint and flicked it onto the background with a paint brush. While that dried, I die cut another piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with the rectangle die and the Simple Grassy Hillsides die. Then, I used green ink to ink blend the grass. I used double sided tape to attach the grass to the sky, and then attached that cardstock panel to a white card base. Finally, I used glue and foam tape to add the images to the scene. I really like that speech bubble for the angel! Here's a closer look at the card:

There's an Instagram hop today that features more inspiration from the Mighty Hands design team, so stop by my Instagram page to see the list of participants. And there's a chance to win a $25 gift card on the Mighty Hands Instagram page!

LF Inspiration Week: Just Stitching Double Circles

Hi friends! I have a fun card to share with you that features the Just Stitching Double Circle dies from Lawn Fawn!

I started by using the stitching circle dies to add three overlapping circles on a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock. Then, I used a circle stackables die to diecut the negative of the three different sized circles and I used the negative piece of a stencil. I placed the stencil that I created over the circle and ink blended with distress oxide inks. I used Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, and Fossilized Amber inks. Where the circles overlapped, they created purple, green, and orange! I spritzed the paper with water to react with the ink. The panel was attached to a white card base and I finished the card by adding a few stars and a sentiment cut from the Scripty Hello die and from the Toadally Awesome stamp set.

Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you all have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Winter Wavy Sayings

Hi there! I have a fun set of Christmas tags to share with you that feature the Winter Wavy Sayings stamp set from Lawn Fawn!

I created the Christmas tags with the Build-A-House and Build-A-House Christmas Add-on dies! I used brown, green, and red cardstocks to create the house. The lights were cut from white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. For the windows, I stamped the images from the Tiny Christmas stamp set and Christmas Dreams stamp set for the tree. The images in the windows are all colored with Copic markers as well. After the houses were assembled, I added the sentiment by die cutting a Simple Wavy Banner with black cardstock and white heat embossing the sentiment. I finished the tags by using a hole punch to add a hole and tying twine at the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great evening! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On

Hi everyone! I have another card to share that was featured during Lawn Fawn's October Inspiration Week! This card features the Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On die.

The die works great with the Shadow Box Card die, but you can also use it on its own, or with the Center Picture Window Card die. I ink blended a night sky with distress oxide inks. I added the mountains cut from Dolphin cardstock and the trees cut from Noble Fir cardstock.

For the center picture window, I used acetate to make the scene see through! It was a little tricky to adhere, but it looks really neat! The inside scene features the yeti from Yeti or Not.

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Winter Narwhal

Hi friends! I have a card to share with you that was featured during Lawn Fawn's October Inspiration Week! This card features the adorable Winter Narwhal!

I started by ink blending on a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock. I used green, purple, and blue ink from Lawn Fawn to create a soft glow from the Northern lights. Then, I splattered some white ink to add some extra details. I die cut a hillside from Pixie Dust cardstock and added a few trees behind it.  The water was created with the Pearlescent Vellum and I used the Ocean Wave Accents die to create a place for the narwhal to swim! I added a few friends to the scene from the Beary Happy Holidays set and placed them on the ice from the Critters in the Arctic set. I finished the card by adding a white border and the sentiment heat embossed in white on a black cardstock banner. Oh, and I added a few stars in the sky!

Thanks so much for visiting and check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration! :)
