Creative Chick 10th Blogiversary!

Hi everyone! I hope that you're all doing well! My dear friend, Jenn, asked me to help her celebrate her 10th Blogiversary today!! Congrats, Jenn!

To help her celebrate, she asked each us to CASE one of the cards from her blog. I had a hard time picking which card to CASE, because they're all so pretty! I finally narrowed it down and chose to CASE this tag that she created:

I really liked how she let the water colored picture show through the die cut "life" letters, so I was inspired by that to create this card:

I used Lawn Fawn's "Scripty Thanks," "Finley's ABCs," and the "Stitched Square Stackables" dies to create this card. The background paper is some colorful paper from Pebbles Inc "Sunnyside" collection. I also really liked the gold star that Jenn had on her card, so I added some gold enamel dots around the sentiment. Here is a close up:

You can help Jenn celebrate her 10th Blogiversary, too! CASE one of her cards by August 4th and link it up to her blog and you could have a chance to win some fabulous prizes by these great sponsors!

Don't forget that you have until August 4th to participate and the winners will be announced on August 7th! Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Blogiversary, Jenn!! :)

BBQ Puns

Hello! I have two really fun cards to share with you this morning that are being featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog! These cards make me giggle every time I look at them! :)

Both of these cards feature Lawn Fawn's "Let's BBQ" stamp and dies, "A Birdie Told Me" stamp and dies, "Smitty's ABCs," "Riley's ABCs," "Stitched Square Stackables" dies, "Let's Polka" patterned paper, and "Cloudy" Lawn Trimmings.

I think the mustard card is my favorite! The sentiment makes me giggle!

For this card, I used the sentiment that is included in the "Let's BBQ" stamp set and inked different portions of the stamp so that it would fit inside of the speech bubble. Before I attached the images with foam tape, I used a grey colored pencil to shade a spot on the "ground" for the image to sit on.

Well, thank you for stopping by, and thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing my cards on the Lawn Fawn Blog today! I hope that everyone has a great day! :)

Lawnscaping #110 - Color

Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a nice weekend. It has been so hot and humid the past few days and there was even a tornado warning last night for a nearby town! That was scary and I pray that everyone was okay! It's not very often that there is a tornado in central PA!

On a brighter note, there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge today, and the theme is all about colors!

I always find myself making cards with rainbow colors because those colors are so cheery and fun! Here is the card that I made for this challenge:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Flirty Frames" stamp and dies, and many thank you stamps including "Critters in the Forest," "Blue Skies," "Home Sweet Home," "Good Fortune," and several of the complimentary thanks stamps from Lawn Fawn orders. I also used a variety of patterned papers from Lawn Fawn for the frames, including "Let's Polka," "Sweater Weather," and "Into the Woods."

To create the card, I first stamped and die cut the frames from the various patterned papers. Then, I used my X-acto knife to cut out the inside of the frames. I arranged the frames on the paper, attached them with some glue, and then stamped the sentiments inside each of the frames. I really like the collage look from those colorful frames!

I hope that you're able to play along with this challenge! The winner from this challenge will win a free stamp set from Lawn Fawn! Don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog this week, too, because they're sharing some sneak peeks of their new products! :)

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope that you have a great week! :)

Hi There!

Hello! I am sharing a card with you today for the current CAS-ology Challenge!

The challenge is based on the word repeat, so here is the card that I created for the challenge!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters in the Jungle" and "Chit Chat" stamp and dies, as well as Lawn Trimmings. I really wanted to showcase the parrot because he's so cute, so I die cut and colored five parrots with Prsmacolor pencils and attached them with foam tape over the Lawn Trimmings. Then, I stamped and die cut the speech bubbles to add above the parrots. Here is a close up of the card:

I can't wait to send this card to someone to brighten their day! :)

Well, thanks for stopping by! I hope that you have a good end of the week. Our town is having it's annual Arts Festival this weekend so I'm looking forward to seeing the locals crafts! They always have some amazing items! Thanks again! :)

Well Done!

*This is my second post today. If you are looking for my Lawnscaping post, click here or keep scrolling down. Thanks! :)

Good morning! I am back to share a fun card that I created with the new "Let's BBQ" stamp set from Lawn Fawn

This set is perfect for manly cards! I decided to use the "well done" sentiment to create a congratulations card with the new "Scripty Congrats" die. This card also features "A Birdie Told Me" for the speech bubble, "Stitched Square Stackable" dies and patterned paper from the "Into the Woods" and "Let's Polka, Mon Amie" petite paper packs. The speech bubble from the steak asking to be well done makes me giggle every time I read it! Hehe!

Thanks for stopping by and thank you Kelly Marie for featuring this card on the Lawn Fawn Blog today! :)

Lawnscaping #109 - Sparkle and Shine!

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone had a nice holiday weekend! We saw fireworks at the nearby stadium this year and my daughter had a lot of fun watching them! I was worried that she would be scared by the noise, but she didn't seem to mind it! She kept saying "wowww" all evening! :)

Anyways, there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge this morning! The challenge is to add bling, glossy accents, glitter, or anything that will add some sparkle and shine to your project!

I decided to add some Stickles to give the ladybugs some glittery sparkle!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Riley's ABCs," "Quinn's ABCs" stamp and dies, "Bugs and Kisses" stamp and dies, and Cranberry ink. The ladybugs and "little" letters are all attached with foam tape and are coated with Frosted Lace stickles. I also stamped the ladybug trail in grey ink, and the hearts are all stamped in the Cranberry ink. Here is a close up to show the glittery details on the card:

Don't forget to see what else the Lawscaping Team created, and also don't forget to play along! The winner of this challenge will receive a $25 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson! Woohoo!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you have a great week! :)
