Birthday Fishes

Hello everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your summer so far! It has been getting so hot here! The little one and I might get the kiddie pool out tomorrow so that we can go for a "swim!" :)

I haven't shared a card with you for a while because our summer has been so busy! But, I wanted to share this cute card that I made a while ago for a friends birthday:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Party Banner" die, "Critters in the Sea" and "Year Two" stamps, and cloudy Lawn Trimmings. I colored the critters with Prismacolor pencils and added some white dots with my new white paint pen (it is so much fun!). The air bubbles are also coated with some glossy accents!

I also wanted to let you all know that there is a Design Team call for the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Team (FIT for short!!). If you're interested in being a part of an awesome team of girls, then you should definitely apply! The DT call is only open until July 4th, so don't wait!! To apply, click on the picture below! :)

Have a good week! I hope that you all have a safe and happy 4th of July! :)

Lawnscaping #84 - Stars And/Or Stripes

Hello everyone! It has been so long since I have shared a card with you! I unfortnately missed the last Lawnscaping Challenge because I came down with a stomach bug (yuck!). And since then, our little girl has been teething (poor kid!). So, I've had my hands full!

But thankful I was able to participate in this weeks Lawnscaping challenge (and you should, too!!). This weeks challenge is to create a project with stars and/or stripes.

I chose to use stars in my project. A friend is having a baby girl soon, so I made this baby card for her:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs" stamp and die, "Riley's ABCs," "Blue Skies," "Love You S'more," and "Plus One" stamp sets. I colored the letters, moon, and stars with Prismacolor pencils (I just got them for my birthday and they are so much fun!). I added a coat of stickes to the top of the stars to give them some shine. The letters, moon, and some of the stars are attached with foam tape!

Well, thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge! The winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn! :)
